This 1928 hand reverse loco is 100% original and very scarce. Maybe a dozen still exist. It has a screw-held Bild-A-Loco motor and a reverse knob like a 9U. It was one of the first #9 locos made before Lionel decided to use the U to denote hand reverse. Also early hand reverse 381 locos exist that are labeled 381, not 381U.

What is really scarce is the original box. So we show it first. I have never seen or heard of another.
