Cathy was Miss Virginia in 1960 and 3rd runner-up in the Miss America pageant. John was chosen as the best stage magician by the AMA in 1968. He frequently sawed her in half.
 

John is a top-tier retired magician. Cathy was his stage assistant -- then they got married. Cathy is in the center photo below. That's John on the Tonight Show (Jack Paar) in the left photo. In the MA pageant, Cathy's specialty was dance.
 

John and Cathy have many interesting collections. The horses are from the complete, original LA fairgrounds carousel they own.
